Keep your own copy of everything in Airtable

Every table, every link, and every attached file, saved to one folder on your computer. No coding. No monthly fee.

Why

A CSV export is not a backup

Here's what you get when you export from Airtable today, next to what Basekeep saves.

Airtable CSV export

Name,Company,Contract

Ada Park,Acme Inc,contract.pdf (https://…airtableusercontent.com/…)

Leo Ruiz,Northwind,msa-2026.pdf (https://…airtableusercontent.com/…)

Link expired
  • One view of one table per export
  • Linked records turn into plain text
  • Attachment links stop working within hours

Basekeep backup

  • Customers.xlsx
  • attachments/contract.pdf
  • attachments/msa-2026.pdf
Saved
  • Every table of every base, in one go
  • Links kept, with record IDs on every row
  • Every file downloaded and kept

How

Three steps, then it's done

  1. 1

    Paste your access token

Create a read-only token in your Airtable account. Basekeep walks you through it.

  2. 2

    Pick your bases

One base or all of them.

  3. 3

    Click back up

Everything lands in a folder on your computer.

What

What's in the folder

Customers.xlsx
Every table on its own sheet, with record IDs so links can be rebuilt anywhere
csv/
One CSV per table, for any other tool
attachments/
Every file, sorted by table and record
base-map.html
Every field, its type, its formula, and which tables link to which

Privacy

Your data never leaves your computer

Basekeep runs on your machine and talks straight to Airtable. Nothing passes through our servers. Your token stays on your computer, and it only has read access, so Basekeep can't change or delete anything in Airtable.
